PRADIYA auf den Starnberger See Gesprächen

PRADIYA at the Starnberg Lake Talks 2026

On September 17, 2026, we will be there – at one of the most renowned networking events for family businesses and decision-makers in the German-speaking world: the Starnberger See Gespräche in Pöcking on Lake Starnberg.

Karina Santjohanser, founder of PRADIYA, will be on site as an attendee and exhibitor – with all PRADIYA products.

What are the Starnberger See Gespräche?

The Starnberger See Gespräche is a full-day event by the Steinbeis Augsburg Business School – featuring high-profile lectures, panel discussions, and genuine conversations during dinner at the historic Midgardhaus directly on the lake. The theme for 2026: "The Comeback of the German Economy?"

Speakers on stage will include Joe Kaeser (former CEO of Siemens AG), Agnes Heftberger (CEO of Microsoft Germany & Austria), Jean-Remy von Matt (founder of Jung von Matt), as well as Lina and Joshua Kimmich, who will present their "Glaub an Dich-Stiftung" (Believe in Yourself Foundation) – a day where business, values, and responsibility come together.

Why PRADIYA is there

PRADIYA is a social business. Every angora scarf created by our artisans in India sponsors a child in Nepal for one month. Every mala bracelet provides a child with a pair of shoes. Every PRADIYA soap gives a child in Nepal a bar of soap. This is not a side effect – this is our business model.

The Starnberger See Gespräche targets people who lead companies, bear responsibility, and know that quality and values are not mutually exclusive. This is also our understanding of business.

What awaits you at the booth

You can touch, try on our products, and hear the story behind them – from the angora farm at the foot of the Himalayas to the children's home in Oda, Nepal. Karina Santjohanser, founder of PRADIYA, will be there in person.

Also at the booth:

    • Angora Scarves – handcrafted by artisans in India, from wool of lovingly kept angora rabbits on two Himalayan farms. Each scarf provides one month of sponsorship for a child in Nepal.
    • Mala Bracelets made from Healing Stones – from spiritual tradition, for the yoga and mindfulness community. Each bracelet gives a child a pair of shoes.
    • My Bracelet – My Story – handcrafted by children from the PRADIYA Children's Home in art class, each with a personal message and drawing. The proceeds fund one month of school fees and lunch for a child.
    • PRADIYA Soap Mountain Flowers of Nepal – handmade in a manufactory in Augsburg. Every soap you buy gives a child in Nepal a bar of soap.

    PRADIYA as a Christmas Gift

Christmas comes faster than you think – and a PRADIYA scarf is not a gift you forget after one season. It is worn, passed on, tells a story. One customer described it this way: "When I wear the scarf, I think of the children in Nepal."

For people who already have everything. For milestone birthdays. For your best friend, mother, boss. And for anyone who wants to give something for Christmas that means more than just a beautiful item.

My Bracelet – My Story is the gift that creates a direct connection: A child knitted this bracelet in art class, added a personal message and drawing – for the very person who wears it. The proceeds pay for their month of school and lunch.

    PRADIYA as a Corporate Gift

For companies that want to give their partners, customers, or employees something that can be communicated internally: PRADIYA products carry a story worth sharing.

"Our gift funds one month of school sponsorship for a child in Nepal." – that's a sentence that works in the next meeting. Not a token contribution, no seal. A concrete, measurable impact.

On September 17, we will discuss scarves with custom branding, individual packaging, and corporate gifting solutions. Just stop by.

Slow Fashion and Social Business – what that means

Our angora wool comes from lovingly kept angora rabbits on two farms: one in Chamba, Uttarakhand (India), and one directly at the children's home in Oda, Nepal. The fur is gently cut by hand every three months – no shearing, no plucking, no factory farming.

The scarves are created by the hands of experienced artisans in India – using techniques passed down for millennia. A large portion of the proceeds goes directly to the PRADIYA Children's Home in Oda: 27 children, an affiliated school with 124 children, run according to Waldorf principles, with full scholarships.
